For organizations

If you run something people can help with, you can post it.

There is no paid tier and no brochure. There is an organization page, events you control, and volunteers who can find them.

An organization page

Your events in one place, with announcements, so somebody who liked the last thing you ran can find the next one.

Events you control

Open to everyone, or restricted to your members. A members-only event still shows in the list and still says it is members-only, so somebody who would happily join finds out the group exists.

An account an administrator reviewed

An organizer account cannot post events until a WeVolunteer administrator approves it, and its events then carry a Verified organizer mark, which means an administrator approved the account to run events. Approval is a review, not a background check.

What you are agreeing to

Most of the people who apply are minors. Posting events means agreeing to the Organizer Agreement, on top of the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines everyone accepts. The Youth Safety Guidelines set out what is expected of an adult running an event with students in it.

To start, create an organizer account. Before you can post events, a WeVolunteer administrator reviews the account and you accept the Organizer Agreement. Questions first? WeVolunteer is run by one person, so the inbox is not monitored around the clock: support@wevolunteers.org
